iLife '05

Well I got my iLife '05 yesterday and I installed it. I've only played with the iPhoto 5 so far, but it's pretty slick! I like the new books that you can have made with your photos and the more reasonable pricing. One of the new features, at least to me, are these "Smart folders". I created one for my nephews that will include any pictures I add to iPhoto with any text that has any of their names. So if I add a picture of Peyton, Tate or Carter it will show up in this folder. I can then click a button and it will take all of these pictures and put them into a photo book that will be professionally printed. If I can get enough of these photos together of the three of them, I think I'll order a set of the small photo books they offer, one for my mother-in-law of her grand kids and one for each of the sets of parents. Next I want to see how the new iMovie 5 has changed. I still want to create a DVD of the party we had in November for the kids in our congregation.
