What to learn Linux?

Maybe your like me and have an interest in learning more about Linux, but no desire to format and load it on your main machine nor the funds to dedicate to a computer just for that. In that case, you need to try Knoppix Linux which is a full working version of Linux along with a bunch of applications (OpenOffice, Mozilla suite, etc) that all run off a CD-ROM, not formatting required. The system is actually pretty slick. You download the ISO from the Knoppix site, burn it to a CD, pop it into the drive of the computer you want to use, boot the computer from the CD-ROM, and the Knoppix sets up a RAM drive to copy the OS to and runs from there. You can access your hard drive, floppy drive and even your flash drive if you need to save any files your working on or download. It's a very slick system and if you have any interest in Linux you should give it a try.
