Resumes

Yesterday I ended up spending the afternoon helping my brother come up with a resume. He has been working at the same place for the past 5 years doing HVAC installation and was recently given a "permanent" layoff. I did some web searching and find three nice opportunities for him in less then an hour. Since he didn't have a resume (I know, hard to believe) he asked me to help him come up with one. Using a few different templates from the Microsoft Office web site we ended up with a snazzy little resume and cover letter for him. We'll see if it helps him get the job, but at least he has one for reference now. Creating his resume made me think about updating mine. I haven't updated mine a while as I honestly haven't needed to, I'm constant overwhelmed by new work coming in, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to have it around "just in case".
