ColdFusion Admin Password Advice

I've done two installations (on different servers) of ColdFusion MX 7 Server and both had problems. It would seem the common problem was using punctuation in my ColdFusion Administrator passwords, specifically "." and "\", at least during the installation. The use of the "\" character entered in the ColdFusion Administrator password during installation resulted in the ColdFusion service not starting correctly and producing a very bizzare JRun error. The use of the "." character entered in the ColdFusion Administrator password during installation resulted in the ColdFusion Search Services (Verity) not being installed correctly and not starting.
