OpenOffice

I see that OpenOffice 2.0 is in it's beta 2 phase right now. I downloaded the software and am much more impressed with this product now then it's 1.x version. It seems like a great product and it looks to me, from my testing it, that for an average user it would be perfect. Much more economical then shelling out $400+ for MS Office, not that MS Office is a bad product. Not sure how OpenOffice will work for a power user though, I had some trouble getting the PivotTable feature in the Calc program to work right. Might be because it's beta though. I see the state of Massachusetts is looking to drop MS Office in favor of OpenOffice. I'm wondering if my company might consider it. We would still have the Outlook client as it comes with our MS Exchange server, but we might use OpenOffice for everything else.
