The Portable Document Format (PDF) is one of the most popular document formats used on the Internet. Anyone can use the free Adobe Acrobat Reader product to open, view and print PDF files. To create PDF files, you need special software, such as Adobe Acrobat Standard or Professional products.
Since those products are hefty in price, but I need to create PDF files for documents I send out. I've been investigating low-cost PDF creation programs. I found three possibilities so far that I'm look at:
Currently I've downloaded and installed the deskPDF program to try it. It seems the most feature rich at $29.99. However, the CutePDF it actually free so I'm curious how well that works.
