Software: Windows OneCare - pt 1

So I signed up for the Windows OneCare beta to give it a try. You have to fill out a survey to nominate yourself to participate in the beta first though. After doing that, and waiting about 24 hours, I received notice I was accepted. I now have it running on my desktop and laptop computers. The program lives in the system tray and shows "green" when your OK, yellow if your not and red if there is a problem. My experience so far has been good. I've not seen it catch a virus yet, but I rarely come across them, although I'd like to see it sniff one out just to make sure it's working. The firewall looks just like the Windows firewall to me, which makes me a little nervous, as I don't think it's a terrific product of itself. I would say about twice a day it comes up reporting that the software encountered an error and wants to send the reports to Microsoft. So, at this point, it's OK. I'll feel better when I see it catch a virus.
