Basement - Finishing
This morning my wife and I did something very rare for the both of us, we stayed home from field service. We have her sister's family coming in from out of town to get ready for and a memorial service this afternoon to attend not to mention a hayride after that. I have to finish studying my Watchtower article as well since I'm conducting the WT tomorrow.
We have all of the light bulbs changed, electrical covers almost all on, I installed all of the door knobs and the door stops. We moved things back into my office and setup the bed in the bedroom for her sister and husband as well as an air mattress for our two nephews Carter and Tate.
We have a punch list of items to finish this week, including setting the basement toilet, sink, vanity and mirror. Installing shoe molding around the edges of the bathroom floor and some chalking. Installing the shower head, handle and cleaning the shower.
Plenty still to do, but it looks so different with the carpet, it even "feels" different, and I don't mind just that the floor is softer.
