My Canon S400, which I've really, really enjoyed, might have a scratch on the lens. I took some pictures with it and noticed that they all had the same mark in the same place in all of the pictures. I gave it a quick cleaning but the mark is still there, although it only really stands out when your zoomed in all of the way. I'll have to give it a more thorough cleaning before I take it tomorrow night to a friends wedding.
On the way home from work tonight Par and I stopped by Wal-mart. I found this impressive Kodak EasyShare camera there. My first digital camera was a Kodak but I went with this Canon S400 Digital Elph because it's so small and fits in my pocket easy. Anyway, this Kodak has a really nice menu that gives you at least 15 different shooting modes and it tells you right on screen when you have it selected what to use it for. I love taking pictures but I also take the worst pictures since I don't know what I'm doing with lighting and all. This menu has MAJOR appeal for a novice like me.
Something to look into. I wonder what Consumers Reports has to say about it.
