So internally one of our departments tracks all of our contacts by the school they are associated/employed with. This desktop application allows the three individuals in that department the ability to track, add, update and delete these contacts and their information.
Others in our organization could really use this information, but having them use the application could be bad if they start editing the data. Today I spent about 1 1/2 hours creating web based interface that allows the user to search for the school, then displays a list to them of the schools (10 at a time that they can "page" through) that they can then select one and in a grid under that school list is all of the contacts associated/employed with that school. It's really, really fast in terms of response time. I'm impressed so far.
