Terminated Study

Yesterday I ended a study with an interested person.  He adopted a very skeptical view on anything he hasn't seen or can see.  I tried to support from secular sources (Encyclopedia for example) about different events and how that matched Bible prophecy to show that more then just a person with an idea had to be involved, but he's doesn't even trust the encyclopedia since he's never seen what stated there.  It left no foundation that I could think to reason on. I thought more about such a view point on my way home before book study, you could really take that view point and run with it.  A person could doubt the current hurricane Katrina since they didn't see it in person, even going so far as to doubt their birth since they didn't see it.  Crazy.
