OpenSource Software

I've never been much of an advocate of OpenSource software over commercial software. That being said I've really started to warm up to it while using a number of OpenSource packages in my new position. I setup and am running Fedora Core 6, MySQL, Drupal, PHP, FileZilla FTP, Apache and TomCat. In fact this morning I had to trouble-shoot and fix a problem with our Apache configuration file after spending a little time with it. I do like the fact that all of the settings are saved in a text configuration file instead of the Windows registry.
