7Zip vs ZIp Compression

I thought this was an interesting tidbit. Today I had to compress a 2.85GB folder we have on one of our servers. I compressed the folder using ZIP compression and the compressed archive file was 134MB in size, which is pretty good reduction I thought. Then I compressed the same folder with 7Zip and the compressed archive file was 29MB! WOW! That's impressive. Both were done using the standard settings and the "normal" compression setting.
