Oracle/Java/JSP/Apex/ColdFusion/Flex/ASP.NET

So my manager decided today, that we would once again change the programming language of our main application that we develop and maintain.  To date, this makes the 6th change since I've been here (December 2006).  My suggestion of ColdFusion + Flex is now being forgotten and will move in the direction of ASP.NET instead.  I'm shocked that my manager selected this as he's certainly not a fan of Microsoft (to be fair, he doesn't care for Apple either, he calls my MacBook Pro he bought me a "Crapple").
Part of the reasoning is that the other large project he just took on does all of their programming in ASP.NET so much of the code can be reused this way.  Another factor was that ASP.NET programmers are a "dime a dozen", which I realize doesn't mean their good, but that was the decision that was made.  With this decision, and my lack of any knowledge (and desire) of ASP.NET, means that I won't be able to contribute, which is fine with me, it takes a whole lot of the stress away and lets me just manage the server cluster.  That should be very conducive to going to a 75% position here.
