OpenOffice 2.0 Released

If you haven't looked at OpenOffice 2.0 yet, you really should give it a look. Besides being free, it is the closest alternative I've seen to MS Office that I'm impressed with. I have yet to find, and I've not been through it thoroughly yet, incompatibilities in it using the MS Office file format. At work we are still using the Office 2000 suite. The cost to upgrade everyone is outrageous, I feel. I'm thinking that as a possibility switching to StarOffice, which is the commercial product that uses the OpenOffice code, to replace the MS Office suite. OpenOffice/StarOffice doesn't have a Personal Information Manager (PIM) such as Outlook though, however, if we upgrade to the latest version of Exchange, which I plan to do, we receive the Outlook client with it so that base would be covered.
