End of a busy month
Anyone see April because I sure didn't! I was one of 17 auxiliary (and 6 regular) pioneers during the month of April and it was SO NICE! With the daylights savings we had very nice evenings for witnessing and good support for it! At the end of the month we also had the CO visit so we all were able to sit in for the first 30 minutes of the pioneer meeting!
Lauri found an interested gentlemen and turned him over to me which has resulted in a nice study. Par and I worked some apartments in the nearby town of Olivet, which has a college, and found a very nice, polite, hospitable and sincerely interested young man that plays basketball for the college. We've had a number of very nice discussions with him. He's from New Orleans so we introduced him to Craig and Brad who spent a week there doing relief work for the brothers and sisters. He also came to the CO's talk on Sunday and really enjoyed the meeting.
All of this extra time in the ministry (50+ hours) and some nice discussions with the CO has helped to re-kindle a desire to get back into the full-time ministry again. I feel like I'm finally getting over the "burn out" I suffered two years ago and am starting to enjoy it again.
