New digital camera
Our current digital camera, a Canon SD400, took a bad drop with the lens out and now makes a horrible "crunching" noise when you turn it on and off. I figured it would cost more to repair then replace the camera, so I began looking online at reviews for a new one.
After checking into Consumer Reports, Amazon, Circuit City and eOpinions I settled on the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W70 camera. It's a slimmer camera then the Canon, 7.1 megapixels instead of the 4.0, starts up quickly and takes shots very quickly. So far it's been nice. The only thing I wish it would have had is a "action" mode for kids and pets, as it seems 75% of the pictures I take come out blurry. Of course, maybe that's just an unsteady hand problem and not a camera problem.
