Script-free pure CSS menu

The other CSS menus I've looked all either didn't work with Internet Explorer, which the majority of web surfers still use, or they required JavaScript, which is kind of a pain, so I still hadn't found a solution I liked. Then I was listening to Security Now! on the way to work the other day and Leo Laporte asked Steve Gibson about his CSS menu that he's been working on. He mentioned that he had finished it but not implemented it yet, that it was pure CSS and no scripting required. I figured it probably looked horrible then, but decided to check it out (link). I was surprised that it looked much better then I thought and I think it's going to work perfectly for what I want, a CSS based horizontal menu for a web application I'm working on.
