Apple Mail.app speed-up

Perhaps your like me and feel that the Apple Mail.app is the best mail client out there. Perhaps your also like me and have a large mailbox. Over time the database (SQLite) that handles all of the mail messages and indexing for Mail.app can become a little fragmented. Over at Hawk Wings they have a tip for defragmenting the database to speed-up some operations within Mail and reduce the file size. You can find the directions here. I found that my Envelope Index file was 5.2GB, but after running the vacuum command it's now at 4.1GB, YMMV.
