Field Service
Last night, or should I say this morning, I got home from the Exchange upgrade and crawled into bed around 2:00am. Needless to say I didn't "jump" out of bed this morning to go out in service.
I didn't feel like it, but knew I'd feel better if I did, so I got up, rushed around and went to the hall with Par. It was cold and snowy, and I wasn't feeling the most "zealous" but Par, Luke and I decided to do territory together.
I selected a dirt road on the edge of the territory, somewhat hoping for only a few houses. The first house in the territory I took, and I placed magazines. The next house my wife took and placed something, and then again, and then again, etc. I felt like Jonah because the whole morning was like that.
We didn't come across one rude person, everyone was at least pleasant and polite, it was awesome! I kept waiting for my "bottle gourd tree" to die, which I figured was my car as it was shielding me from the weather, but it didn't, which I'm happy about.
